If you’re planning a road trip through the state of Nevada, Saddle West has become the go-to option for a great number of travelers. In the following review, we offer a complete overview of the venue and its features, so by the time you’re done reading, you’ll know exactly what to expect before you arrive. If you’d like fast answers to commonly asked questions about the venue, feel free to skip ahead to our FAQ section.

Saddle West: An RV Park, Casino & Hotel

Saddle West offers the perfect respite for travelers road-tripping across Nevada. It’s a fully equipped destination with electric, hot showers, WiFi and a few nice leisure facilities such as a spa and outdoor pool. If the endless miles and remote desert terrain is starting to take its toll, you can ditch the car altogether and rent a comfortable room surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens. For more details about the venue, use the content navigation tool above and skip ahead to specific chapter.

Saddle West Casino Games

While the Saddle West games collection can’t compete with the world class facilities on offer in Vegas, it offers just about enough to keep you entertained while you rest up and refuel before hitting the road again. There are over 250 slot machines, which include classic reel slots, and also some machines that simulate live table games such as poker.

Unfortunately, the Saddle West games selection doesn’t include live table action. While we were disappointed to learn this, the venue does host regular bingo events, which a nice, social alternative where you can meet new friends and compete for top cash prizes in a relaxed, happy-go-lucky environment. Check the official website for details of upcoming events and see some of the lucky winners from past competitions!

  • Video Slots
  • Penny Machines
  • Video Poker
  • No-Split Pot Bingo
  • Paper Only Bingo

As you can see from the list element above, the Saddle West games collection is not as extensive as some of the more high-profile destinations in Nevada. That said, there’s a nice selection of slot machines, so reel spinners will find plenty here to keep themselves entertained. However, if you’re a fan of live table action, you’ll probably want to opt for a venue with a bigger selection.

No Online Gaming Services

Saddle West doesn’t offer online gaming services for visitors at this time. The casino has definitely missed a beat here, especially when you consider that so many gamers are switching to mobile and tablet devices to access online games nowadays. This may be something the venue will look to introduce in the future; for now, however, if online gaming is your thing, you’ll have to look elsewhere. We recommend the world class online poker services available at the Flamingo.

Limited Saddle West Promotions

Saddle West is not renowned for offering a wide selection of promotions for visitors. However, you can find the odd deal from time to time. For instance, the long-running, special room rates promotion offers standard rooms from $49, which means hotel rates are among the most competitive in the area. In addition, you can sometimes find special offers in the restaurant, particularly during festive and holiday periods.

Promotions at the casino.

There is another way to get your hands on promotions, but you’ll have to sign up to the mailing list in order to stay informed. At times, the venue offers specially tailored tour packages in collaboration with popular tourist attractions in the area, so be sure to keep an eye on your email inbox to avoid missing out. In addition, more promotions and rewards are available for members of the Winners Club loyalty scheme, which we will discuss in the following section.

Winners Club Loyalty Scheme

As we mentioned in the section above, members of the Winners Club loyalty program are entitled to more rewards and incentives than regular visitors. It’s a straightforward points-based system whereby you can redeem all that you’ve collected on hotel and RV stays, purchases at the gift shop, and free plays on slot machines. Points are accumulated by flashing your card whenever you use one of the slot machines or participate in bingo events. To sign up, simply enquire directly at the venue when you next visit and the staff will be happy to help.

No Sportsbook Available

Unfortunately, if you’re on the hunt for quality sportsbook betting options, Saddle West doesn’t offer these kinds of services at the moment. However, because there are so many great gambling facilities in Nevada, you’re never far away from a fully equipped venue. For instance, Buffalo Bills has an outstanding sportsbook offering, which covers horse racing and many of your favorite team sports. Here, you can watch and wager on a great selection of sports in the comfortable William Hill lounge.

Non-Gambling Attractions

The following sections will focus on what Saddle West has to offer when it comes to non-gambling related activities and attractions. Not only are there affordable and convenient accommodation options: there’s dining, leisure facilities, and natural attractions to enjoy here too. And, the best part is, it’s all suitable for the entire family. Keep scrolling down to the following sections for the full report.

Saddle West Events & Attractions

One of the best things about Saddle West is its location. Many visitors opt to use the venue as a base from which they can venture out and explore some of the region’s most popular natural and historic attractions. For instance, it’s the closest casino to Death Valley National Park. Closer to home, there are a couple of family owned wineries, and some historic museums and natural attractions to explore too. If none of this sounds like it’s for you, you can always lounge by the on-site pool, or sample the Silver Spur buffet!

Solid Gaming & Affordable Digs

To round up, we’ll start by saying that Saddle West is a very solid venue with a lot of character and an inviting, everyone-is-welcome atmosphere. When it comes to gaming and entertainment, it can’t compete with some of the larger complexes across the state, and there is room for improvement when it comes to sports and online betting. Overall, however, affordable lodging; regular, social bingo; and unique nearby attractions ensure it’s worth a visit.
