American Casino & Entertainment Properties LLC today reported a fourth quarter loss as revenue declined at its Las Vegas properties.
American Casino said it lost $17.4 million in the quarter, about even with a loss of $17.6 million in the same quarter of 2009.

2010 NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship ready to shuffle up and deal
Caesars Palace will once again play host to the 7th Annual NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship. The invite only field of 64 players will get together tonight on the red carpet for the draw party at the PURE Nightclub located next to the Caesars Palace Poker Room. The resulting 32 pairings will return on Friday for the first round of single elimination play in thed $25,000 buy-in .
Modeled after the college basketball national championship the competition features many of the best poker players from around the world. Annie Duke, 2010 Heads-Up Champion, returns to defend her title in this prestigious event. Celebrities scheduled to compete include Jennifer Tilly, Jason Alexander, Don Cheadle, Emmitt Smith, Gabe Kaplan and more. Notable professionals Mike Matusow, Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu, Doyle Brunson, Tom Dwan, Phil Hellmuth, Chris Ferguson and Huck Seed will be there in their quest of the elusive title and winner’s $750,000 purse.
Poker after Dark host Leann Tweeden will be conducting the exit interviews with eliminated players while Ali Nejad will be providing commentary during play. TV coverage of the Heads-Up Championship will begin on Sunday, April 17, and run every Sunday through May 22. Additionally, all three are good descriptions of the last 24 hours in the nosebleed online poker games as one poker legend reminded all why he is arguably the greatest, while the hottest young player in the game reminded us all that he is just as likely to lose an obscene dollar figure as he is to winning.
