CEO of Betfair to Resign

The Chief Executive of Betfair, David Yu, has announced that he has resigned from the company.

David Yu has headed Betfair for over six years and has guided the online betting giant through its floatation on the London Stock exchange to a £1.5 billion valuation and also oversaw the takeover of US gambling giant, TVG as well as their own horse racing channel with its audience of 35 million.

David said “We are announcing this now so that we can begin the process of searching for a successor.”  

The open manner in which they will conduct the search will enable them to find the best candidate for the role.
